A bystander filmed as a man wearing a black vest and red shorts appeared to challenge someone nearby as he held a blue stick.
He argued with the waiters before a white plastic beach chair was thrown his way.
This caused him, along with five other men, to charge towards the two workers.
Some of them grabbed more beach chairs, and held them in the air before using them as weapons, as reported by Need To Know.
Both parties began using the chairs to defend themselves, and some of them snapped leaving pieces of broken plastic on the sand.
Panic erupted amongst other beachgoers, as shouting from various people could be heard in the background.
At one moment during the brawl, a woman approached them all from the side and was visibly stressed by the incident.
The violent outburst continued for a few minutes, as people gathered close to the scene to watch.
A man who wore a blue top grabbed the man in the black vest and pulled him away, as other vendors intervened to break up the fight.
The incident took place on Wednesday (2 Apr) at around 2pm on the beach in El Rodadero, which is in Santa Marta, Colombia.
They were asked to pay approximately £38.60 for their lunch, which they were not satisfied with, it is claimed.
After authorities caught wind of what had unfolded on the beach, the tourists were forced to pay the waiters for the meal.
They were also ordered by police to pay £55 to replace the five beach chairs which were damaged during the fight.
