She revealed he had suffered two relapses in his ongoing battle with addiction.
Mikayla, who married Cody in July 2023, said he has struggled with addiction from a young age and had been sober when they first met.

But she revealed that he relapsed with drugs in January last year and again with alcohol in April.
She opened the video by saying: “My husband Cody is in rehab and I’m ready to talk about it.
“Cody’s story is not mine to share, but he has given me his blessing to talk about it today.
“I want to start by saying I am incredibly proud of Cody. It takes an immense amount of courage to give up your will and enter treatment.

“As many of you have noticed for the last several months, Cody really has not been around, and now you know why; a lot of you have put two and two together.”
Mikayla admitted that 2024 had brought some of the most terrifying moments of her life, as reported by Need To Know.
At one point, she had to call the police out of fear that Cody could die.
Mikayla, who has 16.4 million TikTok followers, revealed she asked Cody to leave their home as his addiction spiralled.

But she says she continued to look out for him, even keeping a key to his apartment in case he overdosed and she needed to get inside.
Mikayla said in her post: “Understand sobriety, recovery is not linear.
“Addiction is a disease, and it’s very complex, and unless you yourself or someone very close to you has struggled with addiction, it’s hard to understand relapsing is a part of the recovery process, not a failure.”
Despite the challenges, Mikayla expressed her immense pride for Cody for choosing to enter treatment.
She added that they are still in close contact, and she speaks to him almost every day on FaceTime.
She said: “I am not new to addiction or addicts, but what I am new to is marrying one.
In 2024, I faced some of the scariest nights of my life. I’m talking about calling the police because I’m scared my husband’s going to die.
“To anyone who has had a spouse or a family member who struggles with addiction, you know what I mean when I say I didn’t know who that person was anymore, I felt like I had lost my husband.”
The video saw support flood in from fans and other influencers who commended Mikayla for her honesty and strength.
One said, “I think many of us are very proud of Cody. Proud of you too.”

Another added: “Sending you and Cody so much love.”
Another commenter said: “Very proud of you both for being willing to share.”
