A four-year-old boy tragically died after riding his mini motorbike into a wall in front of his helpless dad.
Thomas Viviano’s father, Antonino, was holding onto the bike, but it slipped from his grip as his son twisted the handle and lurched forward.
Moments later, he slammed into a low wall a stone’s throw from the family home.

Thomas was taken to a local hospital in Palermo, Italy, with severe internal and facial injuries.
He was intubated and transferred to a children’s hospital, where he underwent a delicate operation on his brain.
However, his condition deteriorated, and he was pronounced dead.
Devastated Antonino, 37, told the police in Palermo, Italy: “I was with my son when he crashed into the wall.

“I was holding onto the mini motorbike by the rear mudguard when it slipped from my grip.”
The mini dirt bike Thomas was riding had been fitted with stabilisers, as reported by Need To Know.
Antonino continued: “I didn’t have time to stop him.

“I was holding onto the mudguard, but I couldn’t prevent the crash.”
The tragedy happened on 7 April, and he died on 11 April.
Thomas’s funeral was held in Palermo on 16 April.
He is also survived by his mother, Katia.

The couple’s neighbour, Giovanna, said: “We’ll always remember those bright eyes and that sweet smile.”
Cops are investigating.
