A man who found a hidden room while renovating his new home was staggered to discover it came with a devastating secret.
Crix Aliz bought the property after his dad overheard a conversation about an abandoned house hitting the market.
The home was “incredibly affordable” but in need of renovation, so the 32-year-old quickly got to work.

But while tidying up the back garden, Crix found a hidden door.
And it led to a discovery he never could have imagined.
“I was removing a thick vine in the garden when I discovered a door that looked like it had come from another time,” Crix told Need To Know.
“It was half-hidden as if someone had wanted it to remain a secret.
“When I opened it, I found myself in a scene frozen in time.
“There were loads of old objects – dusty books, armchairs upholstered in worn fabrics, analogue cameras and an old projector.
“Everything seemed part of a world someone had tried to hide.”
Crix shared a video of the moment he found the room to his TikTok page where it attracted 443,500 views.
And after exploring the hidden area, Crix discovered a small passageway that connected it directly to the living room of the house.
But the mystery was only just starting to unravel.
Crix said: “The house came with furniture from the previous owners, including a piano, which would start playing on its own.
“At first, I was incredibly scared, but over time, I decided to face what was happening, and I wanted to understand it.
“One day, I placed letters of the alphabet on the piano keys and let that presence speak, and it did.
“It spelled out a single word – diary.”
Crix, who lives in Córdoba, Argentina, even managed to record the piano keys playing alone in a chilling video he shared online on 7 March.
And in an incredible twist, Crix hired a medium who helped him to discover a diary in the room.
It belonged to a woman called Adelina.
He said, “Adelina’s presence was real.
“With the help of a medium, we began to understand that she wanted us to find her diary and for her story to be known.
“Adelina was a woman who experienced profound suffering.
“Her husband, upon learning she was expecting a child with her piano teacher, locked her in that room.
“He isolated her from the world.
“What she wanted was justice, to be heard and to stop being trapped.”
On 31 March, Crix, who works as a merchant, shared a video of himself at a cemetery.
He had travelled there after records left behind in the room revealed where Adelina had been laid to rest.
Crix said: “We decided to go to the cemetery where, according to records, her remains were laid to rest.
“We brought flowers and a whirligig and planned to place it in front of her grave.
“Amazingly, the whirligig began to spin at full speed on a windless day.
“I burst into tears.
“They weren’t ordinary tears – it felt as if we were releasing centuries of pain that wasn’t ours.
“At that moment, the sky, which had remained cloudy all day, broke open slightly.
“A ray of sunlight descended, illuminating the grave with supernatural delicacy.
“It was as if Adelina, at last, had risen.”
Crix, along with his friends Jessica and Neven, who helped him research and document what was happening in the house, say the atmosphere has changed since they visited the cemetery.
And there have been no more late-night sounds coming from the piano.
Crix added: “The piano never sounded again.
“The house felt at peace.”
