A group of men desperately tried to save a pet dog which was eaten by a gigantic 16ft long snake.
José Gongo Morales and pals tried to rescue the German Shepherd.
The snake had already swallowed the 10-month-old pup when José and other men spotted it.

In graphic footage, José showed the snake’s body on the ground which had been cut open so that the dog could be pulled from it.
The men used a tape measure to determine the size of the reptile.
Unfortunately, when the dog’s body was recovered, it was too late, as reported by Need To Know.

The animals were found in Naranjito, a town and municipality in Puerto Rico located in the central region of the island.

According to local press, at least four large snakes have been found there in a short period of time.
