Party-pooping rival football fans tried to rain on Aberdeen’s trophy parade by wrongly saying their open-top bus has no valid MOT.
The club beat Celtic on penalties during this season’s Scottish Cup Final on Saturday (24 May).
Loyal supporters of the Dons lined the streets of their city to cheer on the team, who were parading the trophy on an open-top bus tour.
However, eagle-eyed spoil-sport rivals ran a few background checks on the bus.
The supporters claimed that the 1992 Leyland Olympian bus had no MOT.

This was due to the Government’s registration check stating that it had expired on the double-decker number plate J323 BSH.
According to the website, it ran out on 8 July 2015.
Fuming Celtic fans have now demanded a replay after checking the registration, as reported by Need To Know.

Kevin McLaughlin joked: “Celtic should demand a rematch.”

Mike quipped: “Aberdeen should be stripped of their victory and Celtic given the three points.”
Alex said: “The Only right thing to do is to disqualify them.”
One claimed, “The vehicle is clearly unfit for the road, hence the failed MoT for over a decade.
“Aberdeen should be looking into this immediately.”

Another added: “Final should be replayed.”
Unfortunately for the part pooping fans, the vehicle does in fact have a valid MoT which is set to expire in May next year.
As a Public Service Vehicle, there is a separate registration checker on the government website, which states the MOT was passed last month (25 Apr).

Smug Aberdeen fans batted off the claims.
One said, “Taking the loss pretty well.”
Another added: “You need to get out more, son.”
Aberdeen FC has been approached for comment.
