A very tall woman with a much shorter boyfriend has shared what their life is like.
Sarah Button is 6ft 2in – comparatively, her partner, Gabriel Pimentel, is just 2ft 11in.
He also happens to be 19 years older.

But the 26-year-old, a content creator with almost 250,000 TikTok followers, says neither age nor height stands in the way of their relationship.
“I’ve never had many issues with dating, but always found myself dating people about an inch shorter,” Sarah told Need To Know.
“But, I am currently dating a much shorter guy and we get fetishised a lot.
“He is 2’11 tall and 45 years old.
“[These are] both the biggest gaps I have had – ever.
“Height doesn’t bother me in regards to partners matching mine or [being] taller.
“But I do get bothered by the thought of people suddenly realising how ‘large’ I am and wanting someone smaller.
“It [our height difference] doesn’t change the dynamics too much; he still drives, works and picks me up from the airport etc.
“There are just certain accommodations to make [in other areas].
“There are definitely proportional differences in the bedroom but the difference in this relationship is the amount of effort he puts in both in person.
“I wish people would understand that we’re all the same size laying down and other things matter.
“And to take into account that tall bodies move differently so some movements can look a little awkward and need to be adjusted (in the gym, during sex etc).
“I hope men understand that being a little spoon at least once in your life feels great!”
Sarah and her beau also face another challenge – while she is based in Brisbane, Australia, he lives in Los Angeles, US.
But they are both making the effort and have been together for six months so far.
Before meeting Gabriel, the influencer had a certain way of dating to make sure she didn’t get hurt.
She said: “Height is something I always had in my bio straight away on dating apps along with ‘Probably taller than you’.
“Also, the amount of times someone with 6’2 in their bio has been 5’10 is hilarious.
“Not that the height matters but the deception is a red flag off the bat from them!”
Sarah believes more men should try dating a taller woman.
She said: “Shorter guys wanting to date a taller girl should shoot for the moon, I know so many short-guy-tall-girl combos that are such successful pairings.
“[Growing up, being tall] always made me a bit self-conscious.
“I was more negatively impacted when I was younger and taller than everyone at school but eventually everyone grew so I stood out less!
“Now I walk with my head high and know that it sets me apart and I love it.
“I do worry about posture more than most people though!”
