A footballer tragically died of a heart attack during a match after making an eerie pre-game boast.
Enzo Pittau – dad to a baby girl – became visibly weak on the pitch and lost his footing numerous times before he collapsed to the ground.
The 35-year-old was rushed to a local hospital where it was found that he had suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest.

He fell ill 41 minutes into the first half of the game, which took place on 1 June.
Enzo played for Don Orione, and his team were playing in the second leg of the Argentinian Federativo tournament’s second phase against Club Unión.
Just hours before his death, he shared a message online which related to the football match, as reported by Need To Know.
“The faith and God in between,” Enzo wrote.

“Today we play with soul and life.”
His words were accompanied by a photo of his football shirt, and his shin guards which were adorned with photos of his baby daughter.
The Chaco league, based in Argentina, has been left devastated by his death.
He died in Machagai, north of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Enzo had played for several Chaco clubs and even tried his luck in European teams in Italy, Switzerland and Spain.

Local press reported that had returned back to Chaco due to being close to his family after his grandfather suffered problems with his health.
Don Orione reportedly released a statement in regards to his death.
They said: “With deep pain, we communicate the death of Enzo Pittau.
“We are shocked and affected by this loss.
“We appreciate your solidarity and understanding in this difficult time for our club and Enzo Pittau’s family.”
