During a spare moment, Sheeran dined alone at Muñoz’s plush StreetXO fusion restaurant in the Spanish capital.
The chef, 45, told him that the dishes he was about to eat were “a bit like a rollercoaster” with inspirations from “all over the world”.

Sheeran, 34, told him: “I’m a big fan of what you do.”
He took a seat at the counter, and Muñoz personally served a series of dishes while explaining how each one was created.
The pop star was heard exclaiming “holy sit” and “that’s fcking amazing” as he sampled Muñoz’s creations, which included Pedroche croquettes.
Sheeran told him that the most pleasure he gets while on the road is eating in restaurants.
Muñoz joked that Sheeran looks like a chef when he eats because he scoffs it down “very fast”, as reported by Need To Know.
One local said, “Two icons in the best alley in the whole city.”
Ruben added: “I love StreetXO so much that my 12-year-old son is going to treat me to dinner tomorrow with his savings for my 50th birthday!”
Maria remarked, “And he sat there with everyone? Ole you!”

Muñoz hit the headlines for adding fish ‘semen’ to his menu after Japanese chef Hiro Sato invited him to try a dish called shirako.
Shirako, often also spelt shiraku, is mainly served on top of rice or even on custard.
The Japanese delicacy is known for its smooth texture and striking flavour.

It is extracted from pufferfish, monkfish and sometimes cod.
Muñoz said: “Grilled pufferfish semen… indescribable, it blew my mind enormously.”
He added that he planned to introduce the delicacy at his other restaurant in Madrid, DiverXO.
