A star of The Apprentice has slammed Aldi’s new wrap, claiming it is “absolutely awful’ in a scathing review.
Jack Davies, who starred in season 18 of Lord Alan Sugar’s hit show, was hopeful when he picked up the salt and pepper chicken snack for his lunch.
But he branded the £2.49 wrap as “horrible.”
Giving it a one out of ten rating, the recruitment director from Bristol was forced to return to the shop for another sandwich.
While ranting about the item online, the star even told his followers not to buy it.
Jack was one of the entrepreneurs on the 2024 season of The Apprentice.

The 30-year-old only made it to the fourth task.
Lord Sugar fired him for weak leadership and strategic skills, and for his poor record.
The star posted his review to social media on Sunday (6 Jul), as reported by Need To Know.

He claimed: “Right, it’s rare that I buy something and I can’t finish it, cause it’s that bad.
“But this salt and pepper chicken from Aldi, it’s brand new, is absolutely awful.
“Everyone loves salt and pepper chicken from the Chinese, but this is just terrible.”
He alleged: “It tastes horrible, I can’t finish it. I’m going to have to go back to the shop now and get another sandwich.
“I’m giving this a one out of ten, don’t buy it.
“Honestly, I thought it was going to be banging, but it’s absolutely dead.”
Members of the public were left shocked by the scathing review.
Callum Dowey said: “That’s what we call a forbidden wrap.”

Jay Ben added, “The Southern fried one is disgusting as well.”
James said, “I would give it back to them.”
Another added: “Aldi, ban this guy.”

One said: “Mate, if you’re so unhappy with it, why not make your own? You obviously must be the best chef in the world.”
Aldi has been approached for comment.
