A woman whose partner is 31 years old has hit back at trolls who say she is a “gold digger” – after he took on hundreds of dates and half a dozen trips.
Gigi, 31, maintains that her connection with Tim, who has two kids and is a grandad, is genuine – despite what “sad, miserable people” online believe.
The pair, from Bristol, have been dating for 15 months.

In this time, 62-year-old Tim, who owns a car garage, has treated his young love to more than 350 dates and six holidays.
“People can call me a gold digger as much as they want but I honestly don’t care,” Gigi, a content creator with over 33,000 followers, told Need To Know.
“Yes, we love going on date nights and we’ve been on six holidays together in 15 months.
“We’re actually heading to Japan in a couple of weeks, which we’re really excited about.
“As soon as people find out my partner is 62 and I’m 31 they all assume it is for money.
“But they can’t see that my man looks incredible for his age, regardless of money.
“The reality is I’m happy and content – they [the critics] are the sad jealous ones.
“Happy people won’t hate, confident people won’t hate.
“It’s always the sad, miserable people with no profile photo trolling [us] online.
“They call us names but they’re just losers.
“We have been on 350 dates so far and go three times a week.
“We absolutely love dining out and exploring new cuisines together.
“I think we’ve been to just about every restaurant in Bristol by now!”
Tim always picks up the bill, which is something Gigi “loves” about him.
She said: “Not every outing is fine dining; sometimes it’s more casual.
“For us it’s really about enjoying the experience together.
“And Tim always takes care of the costs and that’s something I really love and admire about him.
“For me, it’s not about our age difference, it’s about the energy a man brings into the relationship.
“I’ve always believed that a man providing in that way is a natural expression of masculine energy, and it makes me feel cared for and cherished.
“He’s such a traditional man and that’s one of the many reasons I feel so connected to him.”
Tim, who met his partner in July 2024, has been divorced for over two decades.
He has two children including a daughter who is close in age to Gigi.
Gigi said: “This is my most loving perfect relationship ever.
“I was married for eight years – I wed at 21 years old, divorced at 29 and met Tim at 30.
“I’d never had a long dating life as most of my 20s I was married.
“Unfortunately it didn’t work out with my ex-husband – and even he was 11 years older than me.
“I have always been attracted to older men.
“Tim is 31 years older than me and I’ve never been happier.
“I really like his children, they are fine with me and Tim is also a grandad.
“His friends all know about me and know how obsessed I am with him.
“My parents are happy that I’m happy and love Tim.”
