A hapless driver has been fined after crashing his car on top of a spiked garden fence.
Pictures from the crash show the mangled motor standing almost vertical, like a scene from an action film.
The 24-year-old driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before careening into the fence in a quiet village last Wednesday (5 Nov).

As well as the driver, there were three passengers in the car.
But miraculously, none of them were hurt, as reported by Need To Know.
Firefighters raced to the scene in Ogorzelec, south-western Poland, at around 10pm.
Police cordoned off the area and set up a road detour while the wrecked car was carefully removed.
A breathalyser test showed the driver was sober, but police said he failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions.
A police spokesperson said: “The 24-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle and, as a result, he hit a nearby fence and ended up hanging off it.”
The unnamed driver was slapped with a fine for dangerous driving.
