A woman who works as a professional girlfriend has revealed how she made a client spend £840 on a date to break up with her.
It’s the first time Ruby Jade has been dumped during her lucrative career.
The 25-year-old, who was upset about the situation, says the reason behind their split was because he “wanted something more”.
Ruby, who hopes to become a millionaire from the role, didn’t let him leave without one last splurge, though.
The pair went on a “break up date”, which cost the former client a whopping $1,700 (AUD) (£840) in total.
“I didn’t get any break up gifts, but we had a nice dinner,” the content creator, who boasts 27,000 followers on TikTok, (@ruby_x_jade), told Need To Know.

“We also went back to the escape room where we had our first date.
“It did make me sad, but also happy that he’s ready to explore other options.
“I told him if he ever wants to rekindle our dynamic to not hesitate to reach out.
“I haven’t heard from him since, but we still follow each other.”
In a clip, Ruby vlogs their break up date.
“I get paid thousands of dollars just to go out to dinner with men,” she said.
“I don’t go home with them – and for some reason, some people think they can change my mind about that, but it never happens.
“While all my clients respect my boundaries, sometimes they still hold out hope that maybe, someday, things will change.”
Ruby films herself entering into a posh restaurant, followed by perusing the menu.
She orders two drinks – and notes that she didn’t pay as it’s “his job” –while saving them a table.
A table full of plates is shown, as well as a napkin with Ruby’s lipstick, which the client took home as a “parting gift”.

Ruby, who hails from Brisbane, Australia, holds hands with her ex as they walk to get a sweet treat and then onto an escape room.
She added: “It’s really sad to see him go, I’ll miss him.”
All in all, the break up cost him $1,700 (AUD) (£840); $1,000 (AUD) (£494) for her time and £345 for the date itself.
Ruby previously shared how a client, who sadly passed away, left a huge gift for her in his will – to the tune of $25,000 (AUD) (£12,185).
She added: “I didn’t expect for one minute that he would actually leave me anything in his will.
“But when I got that notification, I felt so incredibly grateful for him.
“It’s a clear sign of how much I meant to him.”
