A 15-year-old beauty queen tragically died after being run over by a pick-up truck.
Ivana Marcela López Muralles was struck head-on while riding her motorbike.
Neither she nor the driver appeared to brake or notice each other before the collision.

The pick-up, reportedly travelling at high speed, ran her over and dragged her several yards along the road, killing her at the scene.
The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly detained by authorities.
The motorbike ended up trapped under the vehicle’s chassis in Nueva Concepción, south-west of Antigua Guatemala last Thursday (13 Nov) night.
Ivana had taken part in school and local beauty pageants since childhood, as reported by Need To Know.
She was the current Flor de la Feria Queen 2024-2025 of Nueva Concepción, preparing to hand over her title in the coming months.
Her funeral took place on Saturday (15 Nov), with the hearse adorned with all the sashes from the pageants she had won.
The Municipality of Nueva Concepción paid tribute, saying: “Ivana will be remembered not only for her beauty and charm, but above all for the humility that always defined her and her spirit of solidarity towards others.
“Her willingness to lend a hand to those in need, her dedication to community service, and her warmth leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
Ivana is believed to be survived by her parents and a younger brother.
Riding a motorbike at 15 is illegal in Guatemala, though some reports give her age as 16 or 17.
The investigation continues.
