A singer and his father were killed in a motorbike crash just hours before his wedding while on their way to pick up snacks for the reception.
The tragedy unfolded when a car collided with their motorcycle, hurling it into the back of another vehicle.
Jaílson Pereira da Silva Melo and his father, José Valdir de Melo, were thrown from the bike.

The driver who caused the collision fled the scene.
The motorist in the second car said he looked back after the impact and saw “two bodies rolling” across the road.
Paramedics raced to the scene but could only confirm the pair had died on Saturday (22 Nov) morning
The horror happened on the BR-104 between Campina Grande and Queimadas, north east of Brasilia, Brazil.

Jaílson, 27, had been due to marry his long-term partner, Mônica Andrade, later that day, as reported by Need To Know.
Just hours earlier, he had posted: “Happy Saturday, everyone. The big day has arrived.”
The singer was part of the Campina Grande-based forró trio Aventureiros do Forró – performing vocals and a range of instruments, including accordion.
Forró is a traditional folk music and dance genre from Brazil’s north-east.

His friend and bandmate José Júnior, who was set to be best man, told local media: “His brother called me, which was strange because he never does.
“I picked up straight away and he said, ‘There’s been a tragedy.’ I couldn’t believe it – and today of all days.”
Father, 58, and son were buried in Campina Grande yesterday (23 Nov).
Police are now working to identify the hit-and-run driver.
