His death was confirmed shortly after.
Tony lived alone and had no children.
The night before the accident in São Paulo, Brazil, he had spent time with his sister and, despite being busy with the renovations, seemed well and excited about the new chapter.
His artistic career spanned 30 years, as reported by Need To Know.
He was best known for his theatre work, performing in The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Jekyll & Hyde, Fiddler on the Roof, and other productions.

He also made a name for himself in voice acting, lending his vocal talent to Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Netflix’s Go, Dog, Go!, Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast, and more.
He voiced characters in animated hits including Elena of Avalor, The Muppets, and Sheriff Callie’s Wild West.
On screen, he appeared in films such as Phantom Summer and Necropolis Symphony.
Tony was laid to rest in Vargem Grande Paulista yesterday (27 Nov).
Bruno paid tribute: “I can’t believe it. I saw him live in Garden of the Sleepwalkers, and he became my friend afterwards.
“I can’t believe you’re gone. Your talent and kindness will be greatly missed! Rest in peace, my friend.”
