It was only discovered after an inspection of the seized-up HP machine.

And they had know idea how it got in there.
Pictures showed the tiny garden bird inside the mechanism.
It happened at an unnamed business in Southampton, Hants.
“Well that’s a weird one,” a worker revealed to Need To Know.
“The boss was complaining his printer didn’t work after the Christmas break and was wondering why.

“Once we took the cartridge out, we were surprised to find the blue tit in there.
“Goodness knows how it got in there – but it was dead.
“I absolutely don’t know how or why it was there.
“It was under the print cartridge. Maybe it was warm in there at night.
“It was a weird one by any standards.”
Some people saw the funny side.
One said: “Did Twitter help?”

A Monty Python fan added: “He’s resting.
“Norwegian Blue.”

And a third said: “What the hell – never seen that before.”
