After her cancer battle, she passed away in Curitiba, Brazil, on Saturday (10 Jan).
She had been hospitalised for 24 days.
Isabel wrote a letter for her one-year-old son Arthur in October 2025 when she was about to undergo a bone marrow transplant.
Following her untimely passing, the letter has gone viral online again, as reported by Need To Know.

She told her infant son: “Hi, my love, Mummy isn’t with you right now, and I know you feel it.
“I know you miss my lap, and that scent you’re searching for in the air that isn’t there.
“But I want to tell you something, I haven’t gone away… I’m here, inside everything.
“In your pillow, in your favourite toy, in the sounds the house makes when you wake up.
“And most importantly… I’m inside the reason that made me get up once again: you, my love.
“Mummy is in a place that takes care of her body so I can get strong again.
“To carry you, to run in the park with you, to see you grow, smile, sleep peacefully.

“And I will come back. It will take a little while, but I will come back.
“With the same heart, with the same scent, with the same love, with a hug that will mend everything.
“If someone is reading this to you, know this: Mum is listening too, wherever she is.
“And what she wants most is to tell you: You are never alone.”
She added: “I love you more than any distance can measure.
“I promise I’ll be back soon…”
Arthur is being cared for by his father Lucas Borbas, 27, who remained a rock by Isabel’s side throughout her treatment.

He wrote in November: “We’ve shared 823 days together.
“It’s not just our time together, it’s everything we’ve overcome side by side.
“From the smiles after the struggles, to the love that we didn’t let go even during the transplant, to the faith that sustained our story when our strength failed.
“Today is our dating anniversary, but it’s also proof that God united two hearts that never gave up on each other.
“I would choose you in every one of those 823 days… and I would choose you again.
“Happy anniversary, my love.”
Isabel will be laid to rest in Dois Vizinhos in Paraná where she grew up and was raised her family.
