A teenager was hit by a car while on a pedestrian crossing after the driver allegedly failed to stop on the icy road.
CCTV footage showed the 16-year-old girl walking across the snowy street as the Renault approached.
The young pedestrian apparently didn’t look up as the driver collided with her.

She landed on the bonnet before then falling to the ground.
The accident took place in the village of Tarnawatka located south-east of Warsaw, Poland, last Thursday (8 Jan).
The police said the victim was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and that the 19-year-old driver was sober at the time.
The authorities released the CCTV images to ask the public to take extra care in the wintry weather, as reported by NeedToKnow.
A police spokesperson said: “A 19-year-old Renault driver hit a teenager on a marked pedestrian crossing.
“The 16-year-old suffered bodily injuries and ended up in hospital.
“We urge both drivers and pedestrians to use extra caution and consideration.
“Remember, every driver who arrives at a marked pedestrian crossing is obliged to exercise extra care.
“You should slow down and observe the surroundings so as not to endanger pedestrians on the crossing.
“We also remind pedestrians that there are currently very difficult conditions on the road.
“If you are not sure that the driver will stop before the crossing, do not venture across.
“Let’s keep ourselves safe together.
“We have released this recording as a warning and we urge you to take it into account.”
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
