They look and smell like parsnips.
They are also dangerous to animals.
Parents have been warned to keep children away from them.
Pet owners have also been told to keep their dogs safe.
The plants were found on the beach in Bembridge, Isle of Wight yesterday (12 Jan), as reported on Need To Know.

A HM Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team spokesperson said: “Please be aware that we have received reports of a highly poisonous plant being washed up.
“The plant is Hemlock Water Dropwort – also known as Dead Man’s Fingers.
“Even a small portion can prove fatal to humans by attacking the nervous system. It is also fatal to animals.
“The plant has a highly poisonous root that looks and smells like parsnip.”
They added: “It is highly likely that this is washing ashore due to the recent stormy weather.
“We advise people, especially with children and animals, to stay vigilant.
“Please avoid this plant and take extra care when visiting the beach.
“As always, please remember if you or someone else is in difficulty on the coast or at sea then please dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
One local said: “Why was a six-month-old puppy off lead in that location?”

Stella Peterson added: “No problem unless you eat them and why would you?
Yet David James said: “Calm down people.”
