Several graves have been disturbed after large trees were uprooted at a cemetery, after Storm Goretti lashed Cornwall.
The destruction was discovered by Rodney Blunsdon, a local artist.
Rodney, who works from Angel Cottage Studio in Paul, near Penzance, captured images of the damage on Monday (12 January).

“I was devastated to see the destruction to the landscape caused by the storm,” the 78-year-old told Need To Know.
Walking up from his studio, Rodney noticed the view had completely changed as he approached the cemetery.
He said: “The horizon was totally different.

“When I reached the graveyard and saw the devastation, it was shocking.”
Uprooted trees had lifted graves from the ground, including some very recent burials.
Tragically, one of the disturbed graves belonged to a child.
“It has to be so distressing for the relatives of those buried there,” Rodney added.
Ancient graves were also affected, some likely forgotten by descendants.

Rodney hopes they will be dealt with and reinstated alongside the others.
He has shared a large number of images of the damage, hoping any publicity will help speed up repairs and restoration.
At present, the road near the cemetery is blocked, while many major roads across Cornwall remain closed.
