A curious boy who clamped a padlock onto his nose and couldn’t get it off had to be saved by the fire brigage.
The combination lock became firmly stuck when the inquisitive youngster fastened the shackle to his nasal septum.
He tried to remove it himself, but failed.

His parents’ efforts were no better, as reported by Need To Know.
Fearing that tugging too hard could injure their son, they rushed him to the local fire station in Huaihua, south-central China, for help.
Footage shows the boy looking nervous as a firefighter positioned a pair of pliers around the shackle.
With a single firm snip, the lock came flying off, leaving the boy wincing briefly as a fragment of the shackle stayed in his nostril.
He seemed fine, though slightly watery-eyed, as the firefighter asked playfully: “Will you play with it again next time?”
Looking down, the boy shook his head and replied sheepishly: “Never again.”
Online, commenters couldn’t resist joking.
One said: “Was the kid worried someone might nick his bogies?”

Another added: “He’ll probably be laughed at by his classmates for ages.”
And a third quipped: “He’s got plenty of time to be a workhorse in the future – no need to shackle himself already.”
