The activist group ‘People against Genocide’ has been spotted smashing up an HSBC bank.
Members of the movement were filmed putting hammers through windows at the branch.
After the windows were broken, one of them – armed with red spray paint – also doused the building to make a statement.
The shocking footage was captured outside HSBC in the Jewellery Quarter, in Birmingham.
The branch has been closed for several days since the incident with police launching a full investigation.

The clip was filmed at 3am on Saturday (24 Jan), as reported by Need To Know. – but the footage went viral on Instagram on Thu (29 Jan).
The statement was made by the group to stop the bank from allegedly investing in Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems.
Several HSBC branches across the UK have been targeted by the organisation.
A spokesperson for People Against Genocide stated: “The returns they receive by investing in genocide will be lost because of those taking direct action.”
Members of the public were left shocked by the footage.
One person said: “They do realise this causes literally the most minor inconvenience.”

Another person added: “Great work guys, increase the pressure.”
One other person said: “Where are the cameras and the police.”
Another person said: “Carry on gentlemen and ladies.”
One person added: “Solidarity.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’re investigating after criminal damage to a bank branch on Warstone Lane, Birmingham, which is believed to have happened at around 3am on 24 January.
We are carrying out a number of enquiries, including CCTV, and would encourage anyone with information, or who has dashcam or other footage from the area at the time, to get in touch via 101 or Live Chat, quoting 20/125912/26″.
