The accident happened about 20 miles from Caleta Olivia in southern Argentina.
The victims were returning from officiating a match between Boxing Club and La Amistad in the country’s fourth division.
A spokesperson for Caleta Olivia Zonal Hospital confirmed his passing on Monday (2 February).
Emanuel became a professional referee in Argentine football after a short playing career with Club Deportivo Penales.
It was his dream to referee at the World Cup, as reported by Need To Know.

His sudden death has rocked fans and players in Argentina.
His partner Micaela Palavecino said: “My love, I want to write you so many things.
“Your face is everywhere, in so many people’s stories, on the radio, and on sports shows.
“I wish it was because of one of your matches or the great achievements you accomplished, but it’s not.
“You tore my soul apart when you left, you left me empty and lost.
“I look for you everywhere, I can’t stop watching videos of you, listening to you, trying to find you in the scent of your clothes.

“We were waiting for you at home, with our children, as you liked to say.
“Give me strength, my love, because we don’t know how to go on without you.
“I miss you every moment, I want you here with me, forever, as we vowed.
“We learned so much together, and so many dreams were left unfinished.
“I just want to see you again and melt into that tight hug you always gave me.”
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
