A 102-year-old couple born on exactly the same day have revealed the simple routines they credit for their long lives.
Yuan Guanjin and Yin Hezhen were both born on 26 March 1924.
Together they raised three sons and two daughters. Their eldest son is now 74, while their youngest daughter is 59.

The family has since grown to include two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters, aged between 10 and 17.
The centenarian couple lived independently until moving in with their youngest daughter, Yuan Yaqin, three years ago.
She and her siblings now take turns staying overnight to help care for them.
They put their longevity down to a steady daily routine, as reported by Need To Know.

After getting up at 8am, Guanjin likes to wander around the local market in their neighbourhood in Hangzhou, China, and spends his afternoons playing cards with friends.
Hezhen prefers a quieter start, rising at 6am to sweep the floor and tidy the house.
Their tastes in food differ, too. Guanjin has a sweet tooth and favours vegetarian dishes, even adding a little sugar to stir-fried greens and radish soup.
Hezhen, by contrast, prefers plainer flavours, enjoys a small glass of red wine, and is happy to eat meat.

To keep both content, Yaqin prepares two versions of each meal – one slightly sweeter than the other.
The couple have supported each other for more than 70 years.
In the family’s earlier years, Hezhen took charge of cooking and household chores while Guanjin worked to provide for the family.
They still chat constantly and, while they may bicker now and then, they have never had a serious row.
Asked about the family’s Chinese New Year wishes, eldest son Yuan Chenglong said: “Above all, we just want our parents to stay healthy – having an elder at home is like having a treasure.”
