Gregg Wallace has sent an awkward Valentine’s Day message to a former ‘Masterchef’ staff member – telling them “You know what I’m like”.
The former TV presenter has been filming custom videos for fans in the build-up to Valentine’s Day.
One such clip was bought by two friends, Charlie and Lewis, who purchased it for their common pal, Michael, a camera operator who reportedly used to work on Masterchef.

He apparently talks “fondly” of his time working with the 61-year-old presenter and “misses” working with him.
So, to give their mate a treat for Cupid’s weekend, the duo spent £36 on a greeting from Gregg.
“’Michael used to work with you on Masterchef as a camera operator and talks fondly of his time working with you’,” said Gregg, reading the pair’s request out loud.
“Could you give him a Valentine’s Day message?

“Yes of course I can.
Gregg continues reading: “’And he would greatly appreciate it and it would make his day as he misses working with you’.”
The star, who hails from Peckham, London, then admits he misses being on screen.
He said: “Michael, I miss doing telly, I really really do but I mean look telly itself is not in the best places is it.
“But from me Gregg, Charlie and Lewis thinking of you, I’m really pleased that you enjoyed our time working together.
“You know what I’m like, I thoroughly enjoyed my time doing Masterchef – Happy Valentine’s Day”.
In July 2025, the TV presenter was kicked off the show after being sacked by the BBC, following allegations of misconduct, as reported by Need To Know.

An investigation in November 2024 found 45 complaints against him.
Gregg now works on platforms such as Cameo, which he joined on 30 Oct 2025.
Fans pay to receive a custom message with the star boasting a 4.92 out of five rating from 144 reviews.
