A reality star discovered she was seven months pregnant after feeling kicks in her belly.

Jackie Ferm and her fiancé Patrik Lundström are expecting their first child together.

The news came as a shock to the couple on Sunday (15 Mar), as they had no idea Jackie was already seven months along.

Jackie, 35, wrote on Wednesday (18 Mar): “Yay! We’re going to have a little rascal at the end of May. A massive freaking surprise…

“We had no idea. Suddenly, I was just super pregnant. Felt kicks on Sunday, took a test, and then it was confirmed.

“Apparently, we’re seven months pregnant, weeks 28 to 30, without having had any clue. It feels completely unreal to write this. At the same time, very, very wonderful.”

The couple told Swedish media the baby, whose gender they will reveal soon, is due on 20 May.

Patrik said: “My first reaction was joy. I got teary-eyed. And Jackie’s reaction was a mix of fear and happiness.”

Patrik already has a son, and the couple had discussed having a child when the time was right – just not now.

Jackie, who had not had a period in a year and a half, had not experienced any pregnancy symptoms before Sunday.

Her first ultrasound was on Wednesday, as reported by Need To Know.

“It’s a very healthy little one,” she told local media. “I was scared beforehand because I’ve been living life as usual.

“I did throw up wine, so that’s one symptom I didn’t really consider. But otherwise, I’ve had some beer, eaten blue cheese, dyed my hair – all the things you’re not supposed to do.

“But everything looked great with the baby.”

Patrik is now plastering the couple’s flat in preparation for the arrival, and this weekend they will go to look at prams.

Jackie was born in Falun to Lars-Inge Svartenbrandt, a violent robber and jailbreaker dubbed “the most dangerous man in Sweden”, about whom she has written a book.

She has worked as a glamour model and appeared in the 2009-10 season of Paradise Hotel.

She also took part in Behandlingen, a show where celebrities undergo a tailored treatment programme for mental health and addiction issues.

Jackie told local media she is glad she found out about the pregnancy now rather than later.

“At least it made itself known, so it wasn’t like those really horrible stories where you find out a baby is coming in just a day.”
