A soldier posted a heartbreaking clip on the runway moments before a military plane crashed, killing at least 69 people.
The Colombian Air Force C-130 Hercules military transport plane plunged from the sky on Monday morning (23 Mar).
The aircraft was carrying 113 National Army soldiers, 11 crew members from the Colombian Aerospace Force, and two National Police officers.

It crashed shortly after takeoff from Caucaya Airport in the remote Amazonian town of Puerto Leguízamo in southern Colombia.
It went down in a jungle area about a mile from the runway while en route to Puerto Asís.
According to latest figures, at least 69 have been confirmed killed.
Out of the 58 survivors, only one did not require hospital treatment for injuries, as reported by Need To Know.
The identification of the victims is also ongoing and the death toll is expected to rise further.
One soldier filmed himself smiling on the runway while waiting to board the doomed flight just moments before takeoff.
The serviceman, who was only identified as a soldier from Magangué in northern Colombia, filmed his unit waiting on the tarmac in front of the plane with their food and gear.
The victims appeared to be in good spirits just prior to takeoff.
The exact cause of the plane crash remains under investigation.
It was the deadliest aviation crash of 2026 so far.
