The Manchester City midfielder attempted to get over his World Cup snub by bagging ringside seats at the boxing.
The 26-year-old rocked up at the AO Arena, Manchester, with his childhood sweetheart and long-term girlfriend Rebecca.

All eyes were on the pair with the mother-of-three dazzling in a beautiful black dress at the Tommy Fury and Eddie Hall fight on 13 Jun, as reported by Need To Know.
However, the footballer also caught some unwanted attention that left his girlfriend fuming.
Controversial adult star Lily Phillips, who was spotted mixing with a number of celebs at the fight, tried her luck with Foden.
She was spotted walking over to the pair to chat to the footballer, much to his partner’s displeasure.
Rebecca instantly clocked who was approaching and started gesturing at the adult star to stay away.
The wag waved Lily away whilst wagging her finger at the model – who completely ignored her.
Foden was caught on camera politely leaning forward to hear what she had to say.
The footage quickly went viral online, racking up thousands of views and leaving fans stunned.
