A GoFundMe page set up by relatives has already raised more than £4,400 towards its £5,500 target, as reported by Need To Know.
In the fundraiser, organiser George McDowall, Jonas’s brother, wrote: “With broken hearts, we are reaching out to ask for help following the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved brother, Jonas, aged 34, who passed away unexpectedly in Cyprus on 5th June.”
The appeal describes Jonas as a “loving son, brother, partner, father and friend who touched the lives of so many people”.

His family said his death had left an “unimaginable void” in their lives.
They explained that, while coping with their grief, they are also facing the unexpected costs of repatriating his body, arranging a funeral and helping support the family he leaves behind.
According to the fundraiser, donations will help cover the cost of bringing Jonas home from Cyprus, funeral and memorial expenses, travel costs for relatives involved in the arrangements, and support for his partner and daughter.
The family added: “Jonas was a kind, caring, and hardworking man who would do anything for the people he loved.”
Tributes have continued to pour in as friends, relatives and well-wishers rally around the family following the shock loss.
Jonas was from Hemel Hempstead.
Local reports said the fundraiser was launched to help cover the costs of bringing him home and supporting his loved ones after his sudden death abroad.
