A car was skewered by a massive steel bar after a lorry driver ignored a height restriction and ripped it from its supports.
Footage shows the top of the lorry smashing into two height restriction bars, sending them hurtling across the multi-lane road.
One of the bars flew like a giant dart into a Nissan Tiida travelling in an adjacent lane, skewering the car.

Video filmed from another angle shows how the metal bar pierced the windscreen on the passenger side.
The freak accident happened on an elevated road in Suzhou, China, on Monday (27 July), with the footage quickly going viral online.
The road is off-limits to tall lorries and is fitted with a 2.5m height restriction barrier, as reported by Need To Know.
However, the lorry driver apparently ignored the clear warning signs at the entrance to the road and drove onto the elevated section despite the restriction.

One of the bars pierced the Nissan through the front passenger side and exited near the left rear wheel.
Photos taken at the scene show the airbags had deployed from the impact.
Remarkably, only the driver was inside the car at the time and they escaped serious injury by mere inches.
The motorist was able to open the door and climb out unaided.
Social media users have since called for the lorry driver to face charges for endangering public safety.
