A woman who ‘hated’ God after suffering a loss has revealed how she travelled through Heaven and Hell after dying on the operating table – but came back with a message that made her a multimillionaire.
When Kat Dunkle’s son, Mark, tragically died in a car crash aged seven, she vowed to never believe in religion again.
But, a few months later, she was crying out for forgiveness to bring herself back to life.

Kat had suffered internal bleeding during an incident in her car and was rushed into hospital for emergency surgery.
She was rapidly losing blood and so her condition was touch-and-go – until she entered a black tunnel.
Kat travelled through space and time before reaching the doors of Heaven and Hell; and then she was zapped back into her own body.

Since then, her life has been nothing short of miracles, including going from being homeless to becoming a multimillionaire.
“I believe everybody has the opportunity during the dying process to choose what path they want to take,” the consulting agency founder told Need To Know.
“I’ve gone from extreme poverty to being a multimillionaire.
“And it’s all because of the message I brought home from God.”
Now 83, Kat, who hails from Kansas City, US, didn’t have an easy upbringing.
But, at 23, she met Don, who is the same age, and within less than a month, they were married.
Life felt close to perfect, raising her sons Mark and Chris, from a previous relationship, with her new husband.

But two years later, in 1967, everything fell apart.
She said: “Mark had been hit by a car.
“I knew the cars drove really fast in that area and I felt a failing inside of me.
“I was convinced he would live, but then a nurse asked if I wanted to call a priest.
“I didn’t want one there bothering the doctors; I just wanted them to focus on saving him.
“But a priest came anyway.
“I was crying and sick to my stomach as they said he was unable to be saved.

“I always had a disbelief that God existed; but, after this, the feeling turned into fury.
“And I hated every thought of him.”
Kat’s life then took a further downward turn, including going bankrupt and her dad passing away.
After the incident in her car during which she injured her lower torso, causing internal bleeding, she recalls going under before everything went quiet.
She was able to look through the tunnel and saw Don, along with her two surviving sons, praying for her to stay alive.
Kat quickly floated away from the scene and saw four human figures in her life, whom she’d never met.

She said: “I felt peace – until a horrendous noise bellowed.
“It was like a freight train.
“Suddenly, a rope was burning through me and pulling all my insides out.
“I remembered how there was no God.
“But then a wave of peace like I’ve never experienced before washed over me.
“I wanted to stay there forever.”
Kat saw a bright light as she moved towards Heaven.
She hoped to live eternally in this state of peace – but the universe had other plans and she was slammed into Hell.

A burning pit filled with screams of lost souls awaited her.
Kat screamed out to God for forgiveness.
She said: “I kept telling him that I know he exists and I do believe.
“I apologised.
“The fall quickly stopped – and I began spiralling backwards.
“A voice told me to bring people to him.
“And then I was back in my body.”
When she returned, her life appeared as a clean slate.
She asked God for guidance in this next chapter and a recurring dream came that guided her to start her business.
Now, as a multimillionaire bouncing back from rock bottom, she’s sharing her message that death isn’t the end – it’s a new beginning.
Kat said: “What you’re headed for is something glorious, beautiful – you have to believe that.
“[Death] is a moment where people are faced with a choice.
“There are two choices to make.
“One is to be with God and one is to be in Hell.
“I was dead before I repented and came to Jesus.
“I’m not special.”
Although Kat does not directly say she no longer fears dying, she says the experience gave the certainty that has stayed with her for more than 50 years.
She added: “I knew enough just from what I felt.
“Being that close to God was so overwhelmingly beautiful.
“It has kept me going for over 50 years yelling the same thing.
“God’s real. He’s real.”
