A man known as ‘Britain’s Most Tattooed Man’ has revealed his wake-up call as he went temporarily blind.
Despite being ‘terrified’ of needles, King Of Ink Land King Body Art the Extreme Ink-Ite – as he’s legally known – has started back up his tattooing journey after a four year break.
The 46-year-old had been waiting until his mortgage was cleared, and, in June 2026, he paid off the final amount.
To celebrate, he booked himself in for a hand inking of his beloved English Bulldog.

And while he’s eager to transform his body further, it might be sending him the message that it’s time to stop.
“I went temporarily blind for around 40 minutes,” the actor, from Birmingham, told Need To Know.

“When my vision returned, it was blurry and I had vertigo, with everything spinning.
“It was so scary.
“It was so bad, I couldn’t use my phone and so I had to flag down police officers on the main road.
“The good news is that after hours of examinations and tests they’ve ruled out a stroke and said my eyes all look fine.
“It was the first time the specialist had dealt with somebody that had tattooed eyeballs.
“It’s not clear what caused this, but it’s given me a wake-up call to be careful about what I do next.”
Although his eyes may appear fine, he was diagnosed with cataracts in both two years ago.

He claims it’s not a direct result of having his eyeballs inked, though any treatment should it get worse isn’t possible due to his modification.
To keep himself in tip top shape, he’s taking precautions, such as spending less time on his phone and wearing blue light glasses.
But that’s not the only battle he’s facing.
King of Ink Land said: I also have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

“I had surgery on my ears over a decade ago and in recent years, I’ve experienced extreme dizziness when getting out of bed in the morning.
“I’m glad it’s only temporary.
“As, if I had it all the time, it could be really dangerous.
“Now that I’ve cleared my mortgage, I plan to reboot my body art and evolve.
“I’m excited to get my back covered up next.

“But I know what I’m doing.
“If I play silly games, I’ll win stupid prizes.”
