A tourist was killed by a lightning strike while strolling along a beach with her partner.
Shocking CCTV footage shows the pair walking along the sand before briefly stopping.
Suddenly, a blinding flash of lightning strikes one of them, sending the victim toppling to the ground.

The other person can then be seen bending over and trying to lift her up.
The horror unfolded at Praia da Pinheira in Palhoça, Brazil, shortly after 6pm on Friday (28 August).
The area had been hit by rapidly changing weather conditions, with rain, strong winds and intense lightning activity across Greater Florianópolis.
The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Endinara Gonçalves Arezze, a tourist originally from Caxias do Sul, where she had worked for a paper and forest products company.
Endinara was walking along the beach with her partner when she was struck. The man was not injured.
When firefighters arrived, they found her unconscious on the sand with no vital signs, as reported by Need To Know.
Her partner had already begun performing CPR, which was then taken over by the emergency responders.
Endinara had marks consistent with burns at the points where the electrical discharge entered and exited her body.
She was taken to the Praia do Sonho Emergency Care Unit, where resuscitation efforts continued.
Three shocks were delivered with a defibrillator during the journey.
At the facility, medical staff managed to restore her vital signs, after which Endinara was intubated and transferred in critical condition to São José Regional Hospital.
Despite being revived after suffering cardiac arrest, she died on Saturday morning (29 August).
Her funeral was held in Caxias do Sul on Sunday (30 August).
