Shocking videos of flooding have emerged, showing furniture being swept down roads and even buildings collapsing.
Heavy rainfall caused serious flooding across a town, with large amounts of rubbish and debris swept along in the muddy floodwater.
Ground-floor shops and homes were inundated, while numerous cars and lorries were submerged.

Tables, chairs and even fridges were also filmed being swept away in Diantou Town, Fuding City, Fujian Province, China, yesterday (2 September).
Local residents reportedly described the rainfall as a “once-in-a-century” downpour.
Other footage shows a three-storey residential building in nearby Xiuyu County, Putian, collapsing in a matter of seconds after being battered by raging floodwater.
The debris was then swept away by the powerful current.
The incident happened earlier today (3 September), following days of heavy rainfall in the region.
Incredibly, no one was killed or injured, as the residents had safely evacuated before the building collapsed.
The flooding also left streets in the area severely waterlogged, as reported by Need To Know.
Fujian has been battered by days of torrential rain, causing widespread flooding across parts of the province.
The downpours have sent river levels soaring and triggered flash floods, with homes, shops and roads inundated in several areas.
Some parts of Fujian have recorded exceptionally high rainfall totals, prompting authorities to issue severe weather warnings and urge residents to take precautions.
The wet weather is continuing to affect parts of the province, with further heavy rain forecast in some areas.
