The total bill after the failed hunt was around £3,300.
The adult content creator, who has 607,000 Instagram fans, told followers she did not believe it could simply have vanished.
“In my head I thought, calm down, it must still be here,” she said.
“It can’t have just disappeared.”
Laís, who comes from the Brazilian city of Curitiba, added: “What did I do? I called a plumber.
“The man came, messed with everything, looked, and nothing.
“That cost me another £300 (BRL 2,000).
“I lost a £3,000 (BRL 20,000) piercing and still had to pay to confirm it had really gone!
“I think that’s the part that irritates me most.”
She then called off the search rather than spending any more cash.
“If I had just accepted it, I would have lost £3,000 (BRL 20,000),” she said.
“But no, I had to have hope. Now I’ve lost 22,000 (£3,300) and I’m still without the piercing.”
Laís, known to her followers as the ‘posh girl of adult content’, said she has spent over £45,000 (R$300,000) on cosmetic work to resemble Sydney Sweeney.
In September, she recreated Sweeney’s sports-betting campaign and claimed a personal sales record within 24 hours, as reported by Need To Know.
