A couple have been caught on camera stealing a creepy Chucky doll from a shop just days before Halloween.
The pair appeared to pose as customers before making off with the horror figure without paying.
Footage showed the woman approaching an open shelf and taking the doll before handing it to her male companion.

The man then pressed the figure against his chest, apparently concealing it from staff, before calmly walking towards the exit.
The woman left shortly afterwards, with neither appearing to be stopped by workers as they made their getaway.
The pair reportedly pretended to be interested in buying the figure, with the woman seemingly distracting staff while the man concealed the doll against his torso.
The alleged theft happened at a shop inside Explanada Puebla shopping centre in Cholula in Puebla State, Mexico, at around 6 pm last Thursday (22 October), as reported by Need To Know.
The CCTV footage was shared online the following day in an apparent bid to identify the pair, with the clip quickly attracting attention because of their unusual choice of loot.
The footage was circulated with an appeal for anyone who recognised the pair to come forward, while one social media post jokingly dubbed them “romantics in crime”.
Chucky, the murderous doll from the Child’s Play horror film franchise, is known as El Muñeco Diabólico in Mexico.
There has been no confirmed public identification or arrest.
It is also unclear whether the doll has been recovered or whether the shop has formally filed a complaint with authorities.
With Halloween just days away, the couple’s choice of loot has added a spooky twist to the alleged theft.
