Christmas has officially landed at GAIL’s – and this year, white chocolate is the star of the show.
The bakery chain has unveiled its festive menu, with two brand-new bakes, reworked versions of its seasonal bestsellers and a white chocolate drinks range.
New to the counter are Sticky Toffee Madeleines (£2) and a Cavolo Nero Garlic & Pesto Bun (£5.50).

The madeleines are made with a date-based batter, spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and clove, plus a hint of coffee.
They’re tossed in butterscotch sauce while still warm and finished with flaked salt.
The savoury bun layers brioche dough with cavolo nero and pecan pesto, ricotta, alpine Gruyère and spinach, before being coated in Gruyère and sourdough breadcrumbs and brushed with garlic and herb butter.

Two festive favourites have also had a makeover, reports Need To Know.
The Turkey & Swiss Cheese Sandwich (£7.80) now uses shredded turkey thigh and breast instead of sliced turkey, served in a freshly baked cream bun with bacon jam and chipotle mayonnaise.
The Turkey Hand Pie (£5.70) swaps diced turkey for pulled, leeks for caramelised onions, and gets a spiced redcurrant glaze.
Fans will be pleased to know the Mince Pies, Panettone Slice, Christmas Bun, Ricciarelli and Iced Penguins are all back.
On the drinks menu, GAIL’s has created its own white chocolate syrup using cocoa butter from its chocolate partner Xoco.

It forms the base of three new drinks: a Salted White Hot Chocolate (£4.30), a White Chocolate Mocha (£5.70) and a White Chocolate Matcha (£5.80).
Also new is a Black Forest Cold Brew (£5.30), which pairs cold brew coffee with a lightly spiced cherry purée, vanilla bean cream and cocoa powder.
Catie, head of food at GAIL’s, said: “Christmas is one of our favourite times to develop the menu because there’s so much nostalgia around the food people love.
“The challenge is finding that balance between keeping the favourites everyone looks forward to and introducing something genuinely new.

“We’ve spent time refining recipes, from the texture and flavour of our turkey roll to the development of our own white chocolate syrup using cocoa butter from Xoco. It’s those little details that make a difference.
“We want everything on the Baker’s Table to feel familiar enough to be comforting, but interesting enough to make you want to try something new.”
The menu launches alongside the GAIL’s Christmas Gift Shop, which features pantry products, homeware, gifts and hampers under the campaign message ‘Gifts to Eat or Keep’.

Big spenders can pick up a £189 Welsh blanket, a £55 crossback apron or a £65 bread knife, while hampers go up to £190 for the ‘For the One Who Loves Christmas’ bundle.
Panettones – in classic, chocolate, mandarin and pistachio and lemon – cost £35 each.
The Christmas menu is available from 5 November 2026 in all GAIL’s bakeries, selected stores and via Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
GAIL’s was founded in the early 1990s and now has nearly 200 bakeries across the UK.
