A Married at First Sight star has died aged 39 following a year-long battle with an aggressive brain tumour.
Adrian Szymaniak leaves behind his wife Anita and their two children.
The reality star was diagnosed with grade IV glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer, in July 2025.

He underwent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy as well as privately funded treatment known as TTFields.
Fans raised around £513,000 (PLN 2.58million) to help continue his care, but the disease repeatedly returned.
Adrian spent his final weeks at home receiving round-the-clock nursing care before his wife announced his death on 5 September, as reported by Need To Know.
“With great pain we inform that Adrian has passed away,” Anita Szydłowska-Szymaniak wrote.
“In these extremely difficult moments, what matters most to us is silence, closeness and the chance to say goodbye to him among those nearest to him.”
Anita said his funeral would be “strictly family and private”.
She added: “We ask the media not to attend.
“We do not consent to photographs, recordings or any material from the ceremony being published by outsiders.
“We need peace and space to bid farewell to Adrian with love, dignity and in silence.
“Please also refrain from personal condolences, phone calls and messages.”
Adrian appeared on the third series of Poland’s Married at First Sight in 2018, where he met Anita.
The pair married on the show and went on to have two children together.
Following Adrian’s cancer diagnosis, the couple renewed their vows in church on 12 December 2025.
His funeral was held at noon on Wednesday (9 September) in Żołędowo, in Poland’s Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.
Close friend and Szczecin councillor Piotr Kęsik paid an emotional tribute following the service.
He said: “Today we say goodbye to a good man.
“Adrian was joyful, honest, cheerful, loyal.
“At his wedding, I went up to him and said I understood why he had a church wedding and a reception.
“He smiled and answered ‘I’m glad, I wanted this very much’.
“He was not speaking only about himself, he was speaking about his children, his wife, his family and all of us close to him.
“I want to cry, but he probably wouldn’t have wanted that.
“Farewell, friend.”
TVN’s breakfast show also paid tribute to Adrian following his death.
