A British YouTube star has begged fans not to punch him in the face after claiming he was attacked by a drunk Irishman.
TommyInnit, whose real name is Tom Simons, issued the bizarre public service announcement in a video shared with his millions of followers.
The 22-year-old Minecraft star claimed a stranger had struck him the previous day – although he did not reveal where or why the alleged attack happened, as reported by Need To Know.

Filming himself with what appeared to be redness around his left eye, Tommy said: “Hey everyone, I just want to say a little PSA.
“If you see me in public, please don’t punch me in the face.
“Someone yesterday punched me in the face.

“Some drunk Irish man.
“I didn’t like it.
“If you could just refrain from doing that, I would be a very happy influencer.
“Thank you.”
The bizarre clip quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of views after being shared on Instagram.
But Tommy’s followers appeared to see the funny side of his unusual plea.
One person said: “Well there goes my weekend plans I guess.”

Another person wrote: “Ah shoot, there goes my plans.”
A third person added: “Well there goes my reason for visiting England.”
A fourth person commented: “I’ll try not to but no promises.”

Tommy did not reveal whether his alleged attacker recognised him or whether the incident was reported to police.
It is not the first time the content creator has spoken about an uncomfortable encounter with members of the public.
In June, Tommy and fellow YouTuber Jack Manifold discussed an incident in which they said they were harassed by fans in a park on their Shut Up I’m Talking podcast.
Tommy, from Nottingham, shot to fame through videos and livestreams based around Minecraft.
He now boasts more than 15 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel.
