A packed fairground ride has been filmed swinging so close to an apartment block that riders could almost tap the windows.
Thrill-seekers were hurled towards bedroom windows after a new pendulum ride was parked tight against a block of homes.
The video showed the giant pendulum lurching to the top of its arc and hanging for a heartbeat beside residents’ living rooms.

Startled locals said they had never seen anything like it on their street.
The ride, called Ding Dong, was set up on Ferial Street in Alsasua in northern Spain’s Navarre region for the town’s September fiestas, as reported by Need To Know.
The five-day festival ran from 10 to 14 September.
The ride replaced a long-standing favourite known as La Olla, which neighbours called “indispensable”.
Residents told local media that this was the first year the pendulum machine had been brought in.
Spanish outlets described the gap as just a few centimetres.
One clip went viral on X with 590,000 views and dozens of comments.
Social media users piled in with jokes.
One local said: “If you go out to smoke, they kick your cig.”
Another added: “You can take their shoes off at the window.”
A third remarked: “And some residents in Madrid were complaining about the F1…”
The mayor’s office has not confirmed whether a safety buffer was measured before the ride opened.
The fiestas have now ended and the ride has been packed away.
