This is the shocking moment a man wielding a metal pole attacks a taxi during broad daylight disorder.
Dramatic footage shows a group of men surrounding a black Skoda as violence erupts in the street.
One man can be seen brandishing a long metal pole before repeatedly swinging it towards the vehicle.

The terrifying confrontation unfolds as traffic continues to pass just yards away.
Police have now launched an investigation and confirmed a male passenger sitting in the front of the taxi was assaulted.
The disorder broke out on Stoke Road in Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, shortly after 2:50pm on Monday (28 Sep), as reported by Need To Know.
Staffordshire Police said officers received reports of a group of men fighting in the street.
A force spokesperson said: “One of the men, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers, was holding a metal pole and was swinging the pole at a taxi, a black Skoda that was parked on Stoke Road, Shelton.
“The passenger in the front of the car, a man, was assaulted.”
The taxi then drove away from the scene with the passenger still inside.
Police said the man carrying the metal pole got into a separate Audi and also left.
Footage of the incident has since been widely shared on social media.
Staffordshire Police added: “Footage of the incident has been circulating on social media.
“We’re carrying out a number of enquiries and are keen to speak to anyone with any information that could help with our investigation.”
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
