A man who was caught on camera kicking and dragging an old dog around has been slapped with a pet ban.
David Allan Young has been prohibited from keeping animals for two years after CCTV caught his horrid acts on camera.
The 61-year-old was filmed repeatedly kicking his elderly dog Milo – whilst also dragging him by the collar and shouting at him aggressively.

On 16 Sep, Young pleaded guilty to two offences under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, as reported by Need To Know.
Following an RSPCA investigation, it was clear that the owner had failed to protect and look after the Patterdale Terrier.
CCTV footage of the abuse was shown at Peterlee Magistrates Court.
A member of the public reported the footage to the RSPCA, leading inspector Clare Wilson to open an investigation.
Shocking footage shows Young kicking the 19-year-old dog in the back, tail and legs before dragging him by the collar.
On 11 Jun, Wilson, accompanied by the police, retrieved Milo and another dog from Young’s home on Longfield Road, Darlington, County Durham.
After being reviewed by the vet, it was clear that Milo had a number of health problems.
The animal was blind, had dental disease, arthritis, cataracts and growths on his abdomen and testicle.
Records showed he was diagnosed with dental disease in 2023, but there was no evidence treatment was given.

Sadly, whilst in care, it was discovered that the animal had cancer – with the vet deciding euthanasia would be the kindest option.
As well as the ban, Young was ordered to pay a £220 fine, £300 towards prosecution costs and an £88 victim surcharge, totalling £608.
RSPCA Inspector Clare Wilson said: “Milo was an elderly and vulnerable dog who should have been able to spend his final years feeling safe and cared for.
“The footage showed a deeply concerning pattern of behaviour towards him, with Milo being kicked and dragged by his collar on multiple occasions.
“He was also suffering from a number of health problems which required veterinary attention.
“Pet owners have a legal responsibility to ensure that the welfare needs of their animals are met, including protecting them from pain, suffering, injury and disease.
“It is heartbreaking that Milo suffered in this way, particularly during his later years.”
