This is the heart-stopping moment a police officer rushes to save a toddler after he slipped between a train and the platform.
In the shocking clip, a woman is seen struggling to board a train with two large suitcases and her son trailing behind her on Monday, 5 October.
As she approaches the doors, a railway officer is heard shouting “hold your child’s hand” and “mind the gap while boarding” as she foresees the danger looming just moments away.

The mother heaves both bags onto the train and turns back towards her son, but he has already plummeted through the narrow gap.
The officer then desperately reached down to lift him back through the opening as she tried her best to comfort the child.
Clearly distressed, the boy is dragged back to the platform, where he is said to have been checked over for injuries, as reported by Need To Know.
Miraculously, he managed to escape without being seriously harmed.
Responding to the terrifying incident, which happened at a station in Chengdu, southwest China, social media users accused the mum of failing to watch her son properly.
One person said: “This mom is really something. She’s carrying two suitcases and doesn’t even look back at her child. Can’t you put one suitcase and the child in the car first, and then take the other suitcase?

“I’m really fed up! There’s no excuse that can make me understand this parent. Their job is not done properly.”
Another chimed in: “First, never leave your child behind and they have to be your priority.”

“Luggage more precious than children,” added a third.
