Wicked’s audience were left fuming after a disruptive woman who refused to leave delayed the show by an hour, before being sat with security.
Ruell Smith was one of hundreds of furious punters who had their night on the West End ruined.
The 27-year-old claimed that a group of women had disrupted the first half of the musical by ‘singing’ and ‘shouting’.

“She was with a group of friends, being extremely disruptive during the first half,” Ruell, a Civil Servant from London, told Need To Know.
“I could hear her singing and shouting.

“Then she was asked to leave.
“Her friends left, but she refused to leave and stayed there for almost one hour during the interval.”
The shocking incident took place at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London, on 9 Oct.
Ruell recorded the moment the infuriated crowd turned their attention to the audience member.
The clip racked up over 954,000 views.
According to the theatre-goer, the entire audience began chanting ‘leave, leave, leave’ at the woman – who ignored their request.
Security at the theatre can be seen approaching the row.
Ruell added: “All the security came up to her and she wouldn’t leave.
“Most people got up out of their seats, and started shouting ‘leave, leave, leave’.
“She refused.
“In the end she was allowed to stay, and three security guards had to sit next to her before the show could resume.”
Jam Press has approached Wicked and the Apollo Victoria Theatre for a comment.
