A derelict house almost entirely hidden by leaves and greenery is going up for auction at £140,000.

The property, based on Pleasant View in Norbury, Staffordshire, appears to have been reclaimed by nature and abandoned for some time.

Images of the listing show red lines drawn to indicate the shape of the home underneath a mass of shrubs.

It is described as “in need of modernisation, repair and redevelopment”, and says it offers 448sq ft with a plot size of 0.30 acres, reports Need To Know.

The listing adds: “There will be no viewing. Access to the site is not advised due to the derelict nature of the structure and the overgrown vegetation.”

The ground floor has three reception rooms, while two bedrooms are on the first floor.

Outside is a “wrap-around garden”, with the exterior itself completely covered in shrubbery.

Pictures of the listing have garnered attention on social media due to its hidden spot.

The property, marketed by Higgins Drysdale, Chichester, is available by auction with a guide price of £140,000.
