A Real Housewives of Dubai star has revealed that she tracks her teen using an Apple AirTag.

Caroline Stanbury shot to fame on the series Ladies of London and shares three children with her ex-husband, Cam Habib.

The 48-year-old shared the controversial parenting act on her podcast; Uncut & Uncensored, as reported by Need To Know.

She explained: “Actually this is really interesting.

“Obviously she’s 18 and I have no right to tell her she can’t go anywhere or whatever.

“But you know, I did ask her because I worry, right.

“So I said: ‘Would you mind if I put an AirTag on you or in your shoe or something?’

“And she’s like: ‘Mummy if that’s to tell me that I have to come home at one in the morning because I’m out, then no.’

“I said: ‘I promise you it’s not for that at all. It’s just that if anything happens, I can follow you.’

“For that she [went]: ‘Okay, that’s fine, as long as you’re not telling me where I can be and when I have to be home, then I’ll allow it.’

“And so I was really grateful for that.

“I would just feel so much more comfortable that, if you know she doesn’t answer her phone for whatever reason in god knows how long, I know where she is exactly and I can get to her and that’s all it is.”

Caroline, who is now married to ex-footballer Sergio Carrallo, has been met with praise from fellow parents.

Lee said: “This is for her daughters safety. The uk is not the same safe country it sadly was once before back in the day.”

“100% I have 4 young adults at home and would love nothing more to air tag all of them, so I can fall asleep at night knowing they are safe,” said another user.

“The point of technology is to give peace of mind. As long as there is consent, why not. At least she cares about her child’s well-being,” someone else commented.

But other people weren’t too impressed with her daughter’s freedom.

“I’m sorry, she lives with you and you are saying you have no right to tell her where she can and can’t go? Yeah no,” said one person.

Another user said: “If they live in your home, eat your food, you pay for their living expenses you have more rights than them. How broken.”
