A nail influencer has died after undergoing a ‘mommy makeover’ cosmetic procedure.
Mother-of-two Asli Fernández had raised money for the plastic surgery, which involves a tummy tuck, liposuction and breast lift.
Mommy makeovers are becoming increasingly popular among women who want to improve their bodies after giving birth.

Patients can return to normal life within two to four weeks, but full recovery can take up to six months.
Fernández, who was much-loved nail technician with 80,000 Facebook followers and 44,000 Instagram fans, travelled to Monterrey in Mexico from her home city of Tijuana for the operation.
As well as creating popular content regarding nail care on social media, the 30-year-old also ran a successful clinic in her hometown.
Her death was confirmed by her husband Christian Carreón on 7 January.
He shared a photo of his wife on social media and invited her followers to attend her wake that evening.
Carreón wrote: “I know you were a very dear person and that many people admired you, my love.
“I ask you to respect the pain of others with the publications that are circulating today.
“The wake will take place at the San Gabriel funeral in Fundadores at 7pm.”
One follower commented: “I can’t believe she’s no longer here.”
Diana said: “I will see you in Heaven, friend, I will miss you very much.”
Leo Santis Nails wrote: “No! My deepest condolences. It can’t be.”
Fernández had big plans for this year that included a nail course in Mexicali and Tijuana in March, as reported by Need To Know.
She wrote on Facebook on 1 January: “This year smells like money, ambition, health and accomplishments.”
An investigation into Fernández’s death is ongoing.
