‘I cut off my nose, ears and got horns put into my skull – but I’m not done yet,’ says dad, 24, obsessed with extreme body modification

A dad-of-one is hoping to break body modification records with his unique look that has helped him gain the nickname ‘Two-Faced Skull’.

Raiden Dos Caras, 24, from Columbia, South America, has undergone over 20 surgeries to date to change his body in an attempt to become the most modified person in Latin America.

He started aged just 12 years old, when he had his first-ever tattoo and has had so much work done over the years that he has lost track of how much he has spent on his transformation but estimates it has cost him £12,000.

The young dad has so far had his ears and nose cut off, installed implants in his skull and undergone scarification branding.

“I started to modify my body at the age of 12, when I got my first tattoo,” Raiden told Jam Press.

“I had my first modification surgery when I was 18 years old and now I have 25 implants in my body.

“I’ve had my ears cut off and my nose split, as well as tattoos on my tongue and eyes.

“I’ve also had other procedures such as scarification branding, as well as implants in my forehead.”

Out of his many procedures, Raiden says the most difficult was his nose surgery.

He said: “It was very painful and I felt a lot of discomfort.

“Since I’ve had so many surgeries, the anaesthesia doesn’t have the same strength anymore, so I feel a lot of pain.

“Despite this being one of my most painful procedures, I think the duplications of the horns in my forehead comes close.”

He shares a daughter, Alice, three, with wife, Angie Khaterine, 24, and also has a step-daughter, Mariana, eight.

Despite the couple being happy in their relationship now, he admits they faced challenges when they first got together due to his unique appearance.

Raiden added: “At first, we had difficulties because of my many changes.

“As long as my heart and way of being doesn’t change, she has no problems with what I’m doing.

“My daughter is young, so she still doesn’t express herself much – but she does worry whenever I have surgery.

“She hopes that I will be fine, but I usually bounce back into my normal, healthy self as if nothing happened quickly.”

Although he hopes to break a record due to his modifications, Raiden says that is not the reason he keeps doing more.

He added: “I am not competing with anyone. I do it for the love of the changes I have made.

“Every day I have new ideas of what I’d like to do, which I note down into one big list.

“I don’t like to announce what I’m planning on doing in the future, as I like to just get on with it and show people after.

“It’s my lifestyle at this point.”
