Men are more interested in paying OnlyFans models to chat about mundane everyday occurrences than sex, a new report reveals.

The research findings show that top spenders pay over $5,000 for a single creator and exchange on average 2,793 messages.

But sex is not at the top of the agenda.

According to a report released today (21 May) by Supercreator, the OnlyFans management and AI platform, 78% of chats from the highest spenders revolve around discussing their pets, how their work day is going, and even childhood memories.

Men want companionship and support from a partner who they can reach at a moment’s notice – for a price, of course.

In other words, they seek the ‘girlfriend experience’.

This is something that Sophie Rain, who has been described as the MVP of OnlyFans, has noticed among her own fans.

Her top fan has spent over $6m over two years but rarely asks for nudity.

“We talk every single day, without fail,” said Sophie, who has seven million followers on Instagram, @sophieraiin.

“Charley, who is married and lives in the US, will send voice notes wondering how my day is going, and he loves getting to know me on a personal level.

“I am more of an emotional support system for him.

“People often think that high-paying clients want kinky stuff.

“But funnily enough, he prefers to see me fully clothed and doing everyday tasks.”

For top-earning creators, it’s no secret that building a personal relationship with clients is key to earning more money.

Those who are classed as ‘high-value fans’ are typically people who have remained loyal to their chosen model for a long time.

They often tip higher and give extravagant gifts to showcase their close bond – but they’re not always getting the real deal.

With 78% of messages sent talking about childhood memories, gaming, working out, and television, compared to only 15% relating to sex, it’s a lengthy, yet lucrative, task.

The girlfriend experience is big business.

Last month, in a different report, Supercreator revealed that top adult models on the platform can earn $300,000 per month – or more if they are in the top 0.01%.

Yuval, the CEO, added: “Contrary to popular belief, our data shows that top spenders on OnlyFans aren’t just looking for explicit content, they’re seeking emotional connection.

“The highest-paying fans are investing in what we call the girlfriend experience, an ongoing, intimate relationship built through DMs.

“Nudity is easy to find online but meaningful, consistent attention from the creator of your dreams?

“That’s what drives loyalty and revenue.

“The challenge now is scale.

“With millions of new fans joining, it’s getting harder for creators to identify and nurture those high-value relationships.

“On top of that, trying to stay fun and flirty 24/7 (even when you’re not feeling it) quickly leads to burnout.

“And since 81% of fans never spend a dime, creators need smarter tools to chat more easily and service the ones who will.”
